The Heart of ACTS

Over the years, I have had the privilege of meeting people from many different walks of life. Some were experienced leaders carrying the weight of important decisions. Others were just beginning their careers. I have met young adults searching for direction, people navigating career transitions and individuals rebuilding their lives after difficult circumstances.

Although every story has been different, one thing has stayed with me.

Everyone wants to be heard.

Everyone wants to be understood.

Everyone wants to know they are not walking the journey alone.

That is why I coach.

Not because I have all the answers, but because I believe people often discover their best answers when they have the time, space and support to think, reflect and be truly listened to.

When I started ACTS Professional Coaching, I wanted the name to reflect not just what I do, but how I hope people experience every conversation we have together.

People occasionally ask me how I chose the name ACTS.

The inspiration came from the Book of Acts. What stayed with me was not simply the name itself, but the way people walked alongside one another - encouraging, supporting and helping each other through different seasons of life.

As I reflected on the kind of coach I want to be, those ideas naturally evolved into four values I hope people experience whenever we work together.

I hope you will find me to be:

Authentic - someone who shows up as myself and encourages you to do the same.

Curious - someone who listens with genuine interest and asks questions that help you see things differently.

Trustworthy - someone you can speak openly with, knowing our conversations are confidential, respectful and free from judgment. judgement. and free from judgement.

Supportive - someone who meets you where you are, encourages you without judgement and walks alongside you as you take the next step in your own journey.

I believe every person's journey is unique. There is not a single definition of success, and there isn't one right path for everyone.

Whether you're leading a team, thinking about your next career move, navigating a life transition or simply looking for someone to think things through with, my hope is always the same - to leave you feeling heard and supported, with greater clarity, more confidence and better equipped to take the next step in your journey.
